“You have Slumdog in your hair.”

Okay okay, I know the tagline for the site says, “No More Reviews,” but that’s going to have to change.  Just because of this one movie.  Well, that and a few other movies.  I’m finally seeing some great movies again and I need to write reviews.  It might kill me if I don’t.  Simply because Slumdog Millionaire kills The Dark Knight and Iron Man as best movie of 2008.  And probably best movie of 2007.  By far the best movie I’ve seen since Children of Men or The Fountain (I forget which came first).

It’s time for the last one, finally!  I’ll admit, these YIRs have gotten to be a bit of a bore, probably won’t do as many next year.  Anyways, this one is short.  So, here we go, my favorite games, all played in 2008.

Year in Review: Music

This is the one where I prove how hopelessly uncool I am.  Podcasts have replaced music in my life.  I found when I was spending an hour in the car every day music just wasn’t doing it to keep me entertained and awake.  That’s when the podcast came into my life and that’s where most of my music time has gone these days.  So this list is probably the least of the lists.  But anyways, here’s what I listened to in 2008 (thank you for all the research, iTunes), not necessarily what came out in 2008:

One of my constant struggles is that I read a lot, but mostly online and comics.  I don’t read enough good ol’ books.  I’ve been reading more lately, so that’s good.  But just not enough books.  So, there’s not a ton here but I read some good ones.  Again, these are books I read in the last year, not necessarily books that came out in the last year.

On to the next medium!  2008 saw a significant downturn in the amount of movies I saw in theaters.  But it’s also the year I got Netflix so I have managed to see a significant number of average movies, most of which didn’t make the cut.  Need to pick some better movies.  Anyways, here’s my favorite of all the movies I watched in 2008, regardless of when they came out and in no particular order:
